Roald Dahl "Ten Short Stories"

Hi, everyone. Today I am going to talk about a book I have read, Roald Dahl "Ten Short Stories". I have read just four stories because of the lack of time. I am very busy lately, because of a lot of homework and a lot tests. I hate homework, because it takes me a long time to finish them and I have to sleep late.

Back to the book, "Ten Short Stories", I have just read four of the ten stories, but I think Roald Dahl is a great writer. The first story, " The Umbrella man". It starts with a simple beginning. The story is about a man trading an umbrella with a woman. After the trade, the woman found out that the man is a thieve that steal umbrella to trade with other people. I cannot imagine that the nice, polite man could steel anything.

The third story is also very exciting. The story is "The Butler". The story is about a butler giving an advise to his owner, but his owner did not hear the butler. The owner wanted to give his customer a nice glass of wine, but the butler did not give them as the vinegar in the food will spoil the wine. The butler had always gave his owner an ordinary wine. I would not found out that the wine was not the nice wine, if the butler did not tell his owner in the end of the story. WOW!

There is also the forth story, " The Hitchhiker ". The story is about a man giving a lift to another man a lift to the town. The man that was driving was caught by the police, because he was speeding. The policeman recorded his name and the man in the backseat name too. After that, the man that was in the back seat told him he had "Magic Fingers" that is use to steal people. He took the policeman book that had their names recorded in. I can never expert that the man took the policeman's book. It was amazing.

I love the book "Ten Short Stories", because the stories are all very unpredictable. It has a very very good ending. You cannot except the the twist in the ending. Thus, I love Roald Dahl "Ten Short Stories".
