Theme of Lamb and the Slaughter

Hi, everyone. This is my second post. Today I am to talk about the theme of ''Lamb and the Slaughter''. This is a wonderful book. It is very trilling and it has a twist in the end of the story.

The theme of ''Lamb and the Slaughter'' is Decpection. In this book, there are two main characters, that is the husband and the wife. When the husband married the wife, he could be a loving and caring person, he takes his wife out every Thursday. That why, Mary Moloney, hid wife would love him so much. And Mary Moloney, a perfect wife who loves his husband very much is a good housekeeper and was satisfied with hr life.

The story begins with the husband. He bacame uncaring and wanted to leave his pregnant wife. Mary Moloney could not take the truth and killed him. She was emotionless when she killed him, she probably thinks he deserve it. (and I thought she was a perfect wife) At the end of the story Mary Moloney got away. If you want to know how, go an d find the book.

There are also a few stories that I read, and the theme is also Deception, it is the Male Child and Love. In the Male Child, the husband was a good man and was good to her six daughters and her wife. But the husbnd wanted a male child so much, that he wanted the married another woman.

In the story '' Love'' . The main character, Pearl is extremely in love with Frankie and want to get married. After a while, she dump him becasuse of Frankie's sick father. She is scared that the illness may be hereditary and she does not want a sick husband. So, was her love true? ( Probably not)

All of this stories have one common point, that is the theme. The theme of these stories are ''Deception''.

P.S. Please post your comments.

Life Cycle of a Butterfly (Detail--)

I am here to tell you about butterflies. Some of you may be wondering what I can tell about butterflies. Some of you may know what is butterflies. But, do you know it in detail? So let me start telling YOU!
eggs---

Butterflies have six legs and are a type of insect. Everybody knows what is the life cycle of the butterflies right? The life cycle of the butterflies consist of 4 parts, egg, larva, pupa and adult.

Eggs are laid by a female butterfly and fertilized by a male butterfly. Butterflies eggs have a hard-ridged outer layer of shell, called chorion. The line has a coating of wax to prevent it from drying. The eggs are usually found behind leaves. Do you know why they can stick to the leaves? That's because there is a special glue, the same glue produced by a pupa.

caterpillar---

About 5 days later, the egg hatch into a caterpillar. Caterpillar spend their time on searching fresh leaves and eating leaves. Almost every caterpillar are herbivorous, but some of the caterpillars eat insects, like the Spalgis epius and the Liphyra brassolis. Some of the caterpillar give out bad smell to defend theirselves. Some of the colours of the butterfly are black, yellow and orange.

Pupa---

Pupa is also known as chrysalis. When a caterpillar is fully grown, it begins to ''wandering'' and become a pupa. Most of the pupa are found under leaves. This is the transformation stage. Inside the pupa, the caterpillar is changing into a butterfly.

Butterfly---

An adult butterfly does not live long, it only lives for a short while. Butterflies cannot eat, but they only drink through their straw-like proboscis. The butterflies can fly, mate and reproduce.
